The bottle cap is an important part of pharmaceutical packaging. Its basic function is to seal. With the continuous evolution of packaging functions and forms, the types of caps are also changing. There are three main types of bottle caps commonly used in moisture-proof packaging of medicines.
1. Common cap: refers to the common screw cover, which is also a common cover in our life. The moisture-proof packaging of medicines that choose this kind of cap is generally sealed with an aluminum foil gasket to enhance the overall sealing of the bottle.
2. Moisture-proof cover: Most of the moisture-proof medicine packaging adopts the method of built-in desiccant, and the desiccant is placed directly with the medicine in a bag. The moisture-proof cap utilizes the space at the top of the bottle cap and puts the desiccant in the small medicine compartment on the top of the cap. This not only avoids the direct contact between the medicine and the desiccant, but also prevents children from accidentally eating the desiccant.
3. Chind resistant cap: This kind of cap is mainly to prevent children from opening the package at will and eating medicines by mistake. It is composed of an inner and outer double-layer structure. If the lid needs to be pressed down and rotated at the same time, this opening method is difficult for children and can play a good anti-opening function. For adults, it can be easily opened according to the prompts.
On the whole, the caps of the moisture-proof packaging of medicines mainly include ordinary lids, moisture-proof lids, and pressure-screw lids. There are also some packages that use moisture-proof pressure-screw lids. The lids are both moisture-proof and child-proof.
